We are thrilled to feature Kevin Davis, M.A., a dedicated Psy.D. alumni, currently making significant strides on internship at Palos Behavioral Health Professionals. Kevin’s journey began with a B.A. in Computer Science from Northwestern University, leading him to earn his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from ISPP Chicago.

Transitioning from a 20-year career in retail, where he served as a business analyst, Kevin sought a more intellectually and emotionally rewarding path. His decision to switch fields aligned with a desire to incorporate deeper, more meaningful topics into his everyday work.

For prospective students, Kevin shares valuable advice: embrace the challenging yet rewarding journey, seek help from the supportive professional community, and prioritize self-care. Understanding the importance of rest and breaks, Kevin encourages students to be kind to themselves, recognizing the brain’s continuous processing even during periods of rest.
